About
Building Hawai‘i, Rooted in ‘Aina
Aloha! I am Carryssa Krzyska, a proud Native Hawaiian wahine and the founder of Ku Builders. Born and raised in the heart of Hawai‘i, I am one of the few Native Hawaiian women working in real estate development. With over 10 years as a successful entrepreneur, I am driven to create a legacy that respects our sacred ‘aina and uplifts our people with aloha.
At Ku Builders, we do more than build houses—we create homes and communities that carry the spirit of Hawai‘i. Our work is guided by core Hawaiian values: aloha ‘āina (love for the land), mālama ‘ohana (caring for family), and kuleana (responsibility to our community). Every project we take on is a chance to protect our environment, strengthen our neighborhoods, and honor the traditions passed down by our kūpuna. We strive to make housing affordable and accessible, ensuring our families can stay rooted in Hawai‘i. By blending modern building practices with cultural wisdom, Ku Builders is committed to a future where our land is cherished, our people thrive, and our heritage shines for generations to come.
